There are several different things you can do to improve the appearance of your lawn.  The first way is to aerate your lawn; this can be done in several different ways.  One way is to use either a machine or a hand aerator, and the other way is to use aerating shoes.  Aerating your lawn allows for air and moisture to get into your lawn more easily, and it is recommended that you do this at least once a year at a minimum; this is just one way to help improve your lawns appearance.

Video games are definitely at the top of our lists as far as things we like to do together, but sometimes you just have to get out from behind that computer for awhile and get some real exercise!!  Tonight was WPCS' (Westside Preparatory Charter School's) Skate Night at Roller King out in Roseville.  Every couple of months all the charter schools in our area rent out a local skating rink to be used as a fun night out for the entire family, and better yet it’s a wonderful fundraiser for the school.  What could be better?  Spending some quality time with your kids while getting some exercise to boot, Cassidy and I just love roller skating. 

Her particular campus usually has a pretty good turn out for these events, and tonight was no difference.  But there didn’t seem to be quite as many kids there from the other charter campuses tonight though, which was great by the way.  It gave us a little more breathing room on the rink.  Sometimes it’s a little hard to skate when there’s wall to wall kids, but I did notice tonight that some of Cassidy’s classmates that were having a few problems at the first skate night seemed to have improved tremendously in their skating abilities.  Even some of their younger siblings seemed to be having a better time this evening!!  I just love skating with my daughter!!  You really should try it for yourself some evening.

The “Undead Legends” event is quickly coming to a close, for those of you that don’t know it there’s only 26:06 left to finish up earning the 12 Hollywood Limited Edition Avatar items before its too late.  If you want to win the Epic Circle of Warding limited ability you have to collect all 12 pieces before midnight tonight.  There are 6 pieces each in the Dean Set and the Monroe Set.

In the Dean set you’ll need to collect shoes, a tie, a white short sleeved shirt, a pair of jeans, his hair, and a red leather jacket.  Then for the Monroe set you’ll need to collect heels, white gloves, a diamond necklace, a white fur coat, a white dress, and her hair.  As of about two days ago I finished up both collections, unfortunately for my daughter she still needs to find the last item ~ a white dress.  I’ve been desperately trying to get it for her for the past two days.  Just so you know, it took her exactly two days to get the last two items she found ~ Dean’s and Monroe’s coats.  She finally picked those up yesterday afternoon when she got home from school!!  So wish me luck that I can find it for her in the next 15 minutes!!  Well, times up!! 

Sorry Sweetpea, but I wasn’t able to get you that one last item!!  I wasn’t even getting you that many Carnival Tickets in the last couple of hours!!  I’ll just have to see what I can do to make it up to you ~ I love ya lotz!!

Just as a little added tidbit of info on Rascal Flatts, they just recently made an appearance on one of America’s top TV shows as well: CSI.  They appeared on the show as themselves and were weaved rather nicely into the scheme of things.  You might want to check that out when it come on as a re-run.

FarmVille is another wonderful online game by Zynga that you can play through your social networking sites.  This game is constantly being upgraded and improved as well.  Right now there is a special event going on to commemorate St Patrick’s Day; it has to do with a “Pot of Gold” that you’ll need to pick up from your gift box and place someone on your farm.  Then you can use this “Pot of Gold” to collect all the gold you receive from all your friends.  As of yet, I haven’t placed my “Pot of Gold” out yet.

Another new item that’s been added to FarmVille is the ability for you to go to your gift box, and hit the icon “Make a Wish” so that you can tell your friends which gifts you’re hoping to receive.  It’s really a rather ingenious way to get what you want from the limited “Pot of Gold” game that’s going on right now.  You can opt for a gold bar, gold nuggets, gold bear, gold coin, a gold chain, or a green plume as well as a number of other items you can choose from that isn’t related to this on-going promo.  Who ever thought they’d come up with that idea?  Personally, I used to just ask my friends what items they were interested in, and then I’d tell them what I needed.  Who knew?
